Judging Criteria 


Our judging panel has been selected as ever with those who work in and around Social Media Marketing, We will be announcing the judges shortly, we know what you're like, you'll hunt them down and try and buy them a drink. 


In Each Category we will look for excellence in Social Media Marketing, we want to understand how you have exceeded client expectations, delivered creative campaigns and shown you can think outside the box to drive results.

Judges will be looking for agencies, teams and individuals that can demonstrate an understanding of the audience, best practice and outstanding execution of Social Media Marketing. Judges will also consider the structure, presentation and clarity of each entry. Entries should not exceed 1000 words in total and should focus on work completed within the last 12 months (August 2017 - August 2018).

Each entry must include information under the following headings:

•  Details of the team / agency / individual

•  Agency / individual brief

•  How the brief was delivered and exceeded

•  Challenges

•  Why you think your entry should win

Any entries that do not include information under all of these headings will have marks deducted, You can also submit up to 3 supporting documents and 2 links with each entry (this is optional)


All entrants for “young social media marketer of the year must be under 25 on the 21st October 2018. 

  • What achievements have the nominee achieved in the last 12 months to warrant the title of young social media marketer of the year 
  • This category is for hand on marketers who can show actively working on a brand or on the behalf of a brand. 



All materials will of course remain confidential to the judges. We would like to use winning entries and highly commended entries as best practice case studies, we will seek permission first from the winning entrants.  Winners may also be invited to participate as a live case study at SocialDay19
