Judging Criteria

The judging process is integral to the whole awards, we select those who have experience in working in the industry, those who understand the challenges and can recognise just how difficult and radical the campaigns and entries you submit are. The judges are selected and take ownership of a specialist area.

The process:

Nominations: Some awards require a nomination, particularly in the individual categories, once an individual has been nominated we will advise them (providing contact details have been submitted) we will then invite the nominee to provide the judges with information based on the last 12 months in a full entry.

Entries: Campaign based categories are straight submissions, you will enter online and meet the criteria for the category you enter. Judges will then use these criteria to narrow the entries down into a single shortlist.

Shortlist : We will publish the shortlist online and winners will be announced at the ceremony on the 14th October at Cafe de Paris.

The judges will meet to discuss the shortlist and select the winners, although a single judge will be responsible for making recommendations to the judging panel for a category, the winners will be selected by the judging committee agreeing the winner is the best in class.

Voting: the majority of the awards for tools and services will be put to a vote by the SocialDay community, those tools with the most votes will be announced as the winners. (we have software that will remove attempting to game the system)
